The Morning Dabara Set is our take on that familiar South Indian coffee ritual, shaped individually in our studio and finished in two distinct glaze editions.

Inspired by the beaches of Chennai.

The colours of sand, sea and warm coastal earth come together in a glaze that feels quiet and natural.

It isn't meant to look perfectly uniform. The movement of the glaze and the warmth of the clay allow each set to settle slightly differently in the kiln.

A little of Chennai's coast, brought to the morning coffee ritual.


2. MILK OVER COFFEE

Inspired by the moment milk meets strong filter coffee.

The glaze flows over the warm earthy clay in soft, changing patterns, echoing the gentle movement of milk through freshly brewed coffee.

Because the glaze is applied and fired individually, its flow will never settle in exactly the same way twice.

THE MAKING

Every set begins as a simple piece of clay.

The tumbler and dabara are shaped individually by hand in our studio using traditional ceramic techniques. Each piece is then finished with its chosen glaze before being kiln-fired at high temperature.

The result is a smooth, durable ceramic finish made for everyday coffee, while retaining the small variations that come from making each piece individually.

No two sets will be exactly alike.

A slight difference in shape. A change in glaze movement. A variation in the ceramic surface.

Those differences are part of the piece.

Every piece begins with ceramic clay and is individually shaped, glazed, and kiln-fired by skilled artisans. The process is deliberately hands-on, allowing the natural character of the clay and glaze to remain part of the finished piece.

Where hand-painted details are featured, each design is applied individually rather than reproduced by machine. Subtle differences in brushwork, colour, glaze, texture, and form are therefore natural. They give every piece its own character and are part of what makes genuine handmade pottery different from mass-produced tableware.

Every piece is carefully checked, wrapped, and securely packed before it leaves our studio. Handmade ceramics need extra protection while travelling, so we take particular care with every order, whether it is going across India or across the world.

• Processing time: 5–10 business days

• Delivery within India: 4–5 business days
• International delivery: 1–2 weeks

Once your order has been dispatched, tracking details will be shared whenever available.

International orders may take additional time in some cases due to customs clearance or local delivery procedures, which are outside our control.

Every ceramic piece is packed with care before dispatch. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with clear photographs of the package and the item. We'll review the situation and help you with the next steps.
