The Faceted Table Bowl

If you look closely, you'll notice how the glaze changes across each section of the bowl. Some areas are deep blue, others move into teal and green, while the warm brown rim brings a little contrast around the edge. The colour isn't exactly the same from one section to the next, which is part of what makes the bowl feel handmade.

The shape has its own character too. Rather than being perfectly round, the sides are gently divided into softly formed sections, giving the bowl a little more interest while keeping it easy and comfortable to use.

Every piece begins with ceramic clay and is individually shaped, glazed, and kiln-fired by skilled artisans. The process is deliberately hands-on, allowing the natural character of the clay and glaze to remain part of the finished piece.

Where hand-painted details are featured, each design is applied individually rather than reproduced by machine. Subtle differences in brushwork, colour, glaze, texture, and form are therefore natural. They give every piece its own character and are part of what makes genuine handmade pottery different from mass-produced tableware.

Every piece is carefully checked, wrapped, and securely packed before it leaves our studio. Handmade ceramics need extra protection while travelling, so we take particular care with every order, whether it is going across India or across the world.
