This set takes those familiar moments and puts them into three handmade ceramic pieces.

The oval platter carries a single long leaf, pressed into the clay and traced gently across the surface. The covered jar is topped with a small handmade lemon, complete with a slice resting against it. The matching spoon rest carries the same leafy detail.

The warm ivory ceramic keeps everything quiet, while the little yellow lemon brings just enough colour to the set.

Use the platter for salad, sliced vegetables, lemon wedges or other things you like to have on the table. Keep pickle, chutney or another favourite in the covered jar. And keep the serving spoon close on the little rest.

Use them together when you're setting the table, or let each piece find its own place in the kitchen.

The leaf is kept delicate against the ivory ceramic.

The lemon is different.

HANDMADE CHARACTER

Every piece is made and finished by hand.

The leaf impressions are pressed individually, so their lines and texture will naturally vary.

The lemon and lemon slice on the lid are also shaped and finished by hand, which means their form will have small differences from the piece shown in the photograph.

The glaze may settle differently across the surface, and you may notice slight variations in shape, texture and colour.

These differences are part of the pottery.

They mean your set won't look like it came from a mould where every piece is expected to be exactly the same.

Every piece begins with ceramic clay and is individually shaped, glazed, and kiln-fired by skilled artisans. The process is deliberately hands-on, allowing the natural character of the clay and glaze to remain part of the finished piece.

Where hand-painted details are featured, each design is applied individually rather than reproduced by machine. Subtle differences in brushwork, colour, glaze, texture, and form are therefore natural. They give every piece its own character and are part of what makes genuine handmade pottery different from mass-produced tableware.

Every piece is carefully checked, wrapped, and securely packed before it leaves our studio. Handmade ceramics need extra protection while travelling, so we take particular care with every order, whether it is going across India or across the world.
