The Nesting Tea Set brings a teapot and cup together in one compact form, made specifically for one person. The 300 ml teapot is sized for a personal brew, while the 200 ml cup is made for drinking. When tea time is over, the cup slips neatly beneath the teapot for easy, compact storage.

It is a simple idea, but one that makes sense every time you use it.

The two pieces were designed to belong together.

Use the teapot to brew your tea, pour it into the matching cup, and when you're finished, place the cup beneath the teapot.

The result is a compact set that takes up less space when stored and keeps the two pieces together between uses.

THE GLAZE

The set has a warm, earthy brown glaze with subtle blue tones that can appear across the surface.

The amount of blue is not a separate colour option. Because the glaze responds naturally during firing, some sets may show more blue while others may show less.

The same glaze can therefore settle differently from one firing to another—and even from one piece to the next.

You are receiving the same glaze, with its own natural variation.


MADE BY HAND

Each teapot and cup is shaped, glazed and fired in small batches.

Because the glaze is fired rather than applied as a printed or fixed colour, small differences in colour, glaze movement, texture and surface are natural. Your set may have a slightly different balance of the same tones shown here.

Every Nesting Tea Set is made in small batches, so the glaze will not look exactly the same on every set.

Amber & Blue Glaze is one finish. The amount of amber, brown, red and blue-green visible can naturally change with glazing and firing.

These differences are part of the ceramic process, not flaws.

Every piece begins with ceramic clay and is individually shaped, glazed, and kiln-fired by skilled artisans. The process is deliberately hands-on, allowing the natural character of the clay and glaze to remain part of the finished piece.

Where hand-painted details are featured, each design is applied individually rather than reproduced by machine. Subtle differences in brushwork, colour, glaze, texture, and form are therefore natural. They give every piece its own character and are part of what makes genuine handmade pottery different from mass-produced tableware.

Every piece is carefully checked, wrapped, and securely packed before it leaves our studio. Handmade ceramics need extra protection while travelling, so we take particular care with every order, whether it is going across India or across the world.
