BLUE TIDE GLAZE

Blue Tide is a glossy glaze that moves between deep blue, blue-grey and blue-green, with darker tones often appearing around the edges and softer colour across the centre.

The glaze does not fire exactly the same way every time. One set may show more blue, while another may show more of the softer blue-grey or blue-green tones.

These are not different colour options — they are natural variations of the same Blue Tide Glaze.

That variation is part of how this finish is made, so each set has its own balance of colour and surface.


MADE BY HAND

Each set is shaped, glazed and fired in small batches.

Because the pieces are handmade, slight differences in glaze movement, colour, texture and shape are natural. Your set may not look exactly like the photographs, but it will have the same Blue Tide Glaze and the same overall design.


HOW IT WORKS

Add your tea to the teapot and brew.

Pour your tea directly into the matching cup.

The 200 ml cup is sized for your individual serving.

4. Nest
When finished, place the cup beneath the teapot for compact storage.

The Blue Tide Glaze is one finish, even though the amount of blue may vary from set to set depending on the firing.

Every piece begins with ceramic clay and is individually shaped, glazed, and kiln-fired by skilled artisans. The process is deliberately hands-on, allowing the natural character of the clay and glaze to remain part of the finished piece.

Where hand-painted details are featured, each design is applied individually rather than reproduced by machine. Subtle differences in brushwork, colour, glaze, texture, and form are therefore natural. They give every piece its own character and are part of what makes genuine handmade pottery different from mass-produced tableware.

Every piece is carefully checked, wrapped, and securely packed before it leaves our studio. Handmade ceramics need extra protection while travelling, so we take particular care with every order, whether it is going across India or across the world.

• International delivery: 1–2 weeks
